A brief overview of on the shelf available PIC Design Gears:- Spur Gears: Available in inch (Diametral Pitch) & metric (Modules) Miter & Bevel Gears: designed & Manufactured to operate at
right angle on intersecting shafts. Spiral Gears: Designed to operate at right angles with the pinion able to be mounted to mesh with nay part of the 360° of the gear. Helical Gear: Designed with a 45° Helix angle to operate on parallel or right angle shafts. Anti-Backlash Gears: Available in Spur, Worm & Miter Gears Worm & Worm Wheel: High ratios attainable in a single reduction with shafts at right angles. Rack & Pinion: Produces linear motion.
